We've partnered with Green Commute Initiative (GCI) to make our secure, at-home cycle storage more affordable through the Cycle to Work scheme.
With potential savings starting at 28% and interest-free payments through your salary, protecting your bike at home just got a little easier.
The Cycle to Work scheme is a government-backed initiative that helps employees save money on cycling equipment through their employer.
Through our partnership with Green Commute Initiative (GCI), eligible employees can spread the cost of a VeloHome through a salary sacrifice arrangement, with payments taken directly from their gross salary before tax and National Insurance. Unlike some Cycle to Work providers, GCI has no general £1,000 spending limit, making it easier to spread the cost of higher-value cycling equipment.
This means you could save around 28%, or potentially more depending on your tax rate, while spreading the cost through manageable, interest-free payments.
To be eligible, you must be a UK PAYE taxpayer, your employer must agree to participate, and the salary sacrifice arrangement must not take your earnings below the National Minimum Wage.
Wondering what the savings could look like for you?
With GCI, eligible employees could save between 28% and 47%, depending on their tax rate, with the option to spread payments over an agreed period of 3 to 60 months, interest-free, subject to the options available through your employer.
Use GCI's savings calculator to see what you could save.
