What is your role at GMC?

I head up the Sales and Marketing at Grease Monkey, a diverse role which involves managing the marketing strategy, making sure all our communications and activities are in line with said strategy and optimising sales for the company.

Who is your inspiration?

I get inspired by lots of different people; anyone who is motivated to make a difference to make the environment a better place for our kids.

What and where is your favourite restaurant?

This is hard to narrow down as I love all food! So I have a few favourites; Monteiths in Edinburgh, Rocketeer in North Berwick, Minato Sushi in Haddington.


I love being outside so generally anything that involves being outdoors; horse riding, running and bodyboarding being my top three.

What do you see in the future of active travel infrastructure in the UK?

I see active travel infrastructure becoming more and more of a norm and being actively encouraged all over the UK. Cycling is becoming a much more accepted form of transport with all the different models of cargo bikes and e-bikes, making life on wheels more accessible to all ages and abilities. We just need to get there a bit quicker!
